About Us

Woods N' Water began in 1984 as a local origination television show on Group W Cable out of Warwick, New York. Peter Fiduccia had a dream to host an outdoor tv show--and he turned his dream into his profession. The first few shows were shot locally (within New York State). Every Tuesday night, Group W Cable aired one half-hour episode followed by a LIVE half-hour segment in the production studio. In the live segment, Peter hosted local experts in game calling, hunting and trapping, local DEC officials, and he even had a call-in segment. This new format  for outdoor programming and Peter's natural presentation helped the show quickly gain a wide audience.

After a few years, the writing was on the wall, and Peter took Woods N' Water out on his own. With a production crew and producer, the program began on TEMPO network (which then became CNBC) and since then has aired on numerous regional cable network all across the country as well as MSG, NESN, TNN, TOC, CTN of NJ, CCN and now both PURSUIT and Sportsman Channel. Along the way, Peter has garnered numerous awards for his production of Woods N' Water from OWAA, NYSOWA, CTN of NJ, SIVA and the Telly Award group.

In addition to hosting and producing the television show, Peter has also been the producer for Fiduccia Video and Film. Under this role, Peter produced videos for the US Fish & Wildlife Service, Winchester firearms, Sports Afield, Nikon, Krause Publications, Horton Crossbows, Golden Eagle Archery, Outdoorsman's Edge Book Club, and Pete Rickard Co. He has produced pilot television programs for The Discovery Channel and Home & Garden TV. Outside of the outdoor industry, other clients have included Hackensack University Medical Center, Surehands, Direct Marketing Association, Stone World, QuestRoyal, Activision and ABC News.
