ABOUT OUR SHOW
The Woods N' Water Television Series began in 1984. This coming season, it will be available to over 29.5 million households throughout North America.
Woods N’ Water is a family oriented hunting series that combines outdoor tip segments, the latest strategies, and shares no-nonsense information with our audience. Each show includes an actual hunt that demonstrates a particular strategy or tactic that worked for us on the hunt. Woods N’ Water is hosted by Peter Fiduccia, co-hosted by his wife, Kate and his son P. Cody.
This season, expert taxidermist Bob Vitro of True-Life Taxidermy who is one of the most talented and highly awarded taxidermists in the nation is providing his taxidermy tips on our show. Bob will also be giving us his tips on his other segment called Big Game Hot Spots. Bob will share with you where he feels the best places are to hunt a variety of big game. As a leading booking agent in the county, Bob is also considered an authority on this subject too. Our audience can contact Bob directly with their big game hot-spot questions as well.
Kate Fiduccia is not only a savvy big game hunter she is also an expert wild game chef, as a graduate from Cornell University's Hotel School . Kate has written six wild game cookbooks and she will be sharing some of her most mouth-watering recipes with you this season on her segment Going Wild in Kate’s Kitchen. Cody’s segment, Young Hunters Afield, was a big hit over the last two seasons and this year Cody will continue to bring his talents as a hunter and host to his segment. Youngsters and young adults alike will find this segment something they can relate to.
Woods N' Water Television Series is not only entertaining but specifically produced to be interesting, exciting, informative, filled with humor, and contains real-life, honestly portrayed adventures. The information on the program is straightforward and not wrapped around hard-selling our audience products or unrealistic acting. It is refreshingly honest and doesn’t contain any hard rock music over the hunt, ridiculous whispering you can’t hear - even after the animal is shot, bad acting with exasperated breathing, high-fives, pumping arms, shaking closed fists, near fainting spells, giggling after a kill, and a lot of phony excitement. We respect our audience’s intelligence and do all we can to give you a show that you can not only relate to but believe as well!
You can count on a down-to-earth show jammed packed with excitement, anticipation, humor and honesty. Over the last 25 years of producing our show we have produced an overwhelming number of our programs 95% or more in the wild. We have also produced several programs in hunting preserves from 1,000 to 5,000 acres in size. While hunting in preserves is not for everyone, some of our audience enjoys these programs and for a variety of reasons hunts in preserves. When ever we tape a show in a preserve, however, we make sure that our audience knows that we are in a hunting preserve.
The Woods N' Water Television Series has captured 22 Excellence in Craft Awards from the Outdoor Writers Association of America, The Telly Awards, SIVA (Special Interest Video Awards) and CAPE (Cable Award for Programming Excellence).

Woods N' Water Theme Song
Our song was written and performed by James Patrick Lynch. In 1994, 11 years after we launched our first program on the Tempo Network, we received a telephone call from a viewer (James Patrick Lynch), who told us how much he "enjoyed watching the Woods N' Water TV show". During our conversation, James mentioned that he liked the program so much that he would write and perform a theme song for us. He sent us a demo tape and after listening to James sing, it didn't take us long to take him up on his offer.
James song, Woods N' Water has been our theme song from 1994 to the present day on our show now seen on The Outdoor Channel, Over the years, many viewers have called, written and emailed us to let us know how much they have enjoyed listening to our theme song which was written and performed by James Patrick Lynch. James is not only a talented songwriter and singer; his other love in life is hunting which thankfully lead him to call us. We are proud to continue to have James' song as our opening and closing theme on our television program and like our audience, we never tire of hearing it. Thank you James, you have made our show more enjoyable through your musical talents! James' musical career has exploded since the early 1990s. his company, Pony Music Publishing, has a portfolio of over 200 songs that James as written. James lives in Mt. Comments:
My name is Rafael Vega, I saw one of your shows at the Pursuit Channel. I decided to order the DVD regarding the deer calls. I got the DVD today and started to watch. I found what? I was doing wrong 2 weeks ago when on a hunting trip I used the grunt and bleat call. I think you are very knowledgeable and very convincing when you talk about deer hunting. Something else you are a N.Y. Cow Boy.
