Hunting Books: Bowhunting's Superbucks

Woods N' Water Press is pleased to announce the release of its newest title in a series of Bowhunting Preservation Alliance-branded books, Bowhunting's Superbucks by Kathy Etling.

Etling is a noted outdoor communicator and also a proficient deer hunter. She's been a Field Editor for Buckmasters Whitetail Magazine, Petersen's Bowhunting Magazine, Sports Afield and the NRA's American Hunter and Free Hunter magazines. Etling has been featured at the NRA's Whitetail SuperClinics as well as other whitetail and mule deer hunting seminars.

Bowhunting's Superbucks is a compilation of thousands of hours afield and a lifetime of experiences from dozens of trophy-record holders! These top-rated bowhunters share their tactics and stories of how they arrowed some of North America's top-scoring, giant whitetail bucks.

Featured stories include Bruce Barrie of Barrie Archery and how he bagged a 14-point velvet-antlered whitetail in Montana that scored 164 gross P&Y points; read how shed hunting paid off big time for Kansas' Lance Jacob as he scored on an awesome 213 4/8 gross B&C Non-Typical buck; and how Glenn Townsend of New Hampshire arrowed a bowhunter's dream come true-a 21-point Non-Typical buck that netted 208 2/8 P&Y points. Each hunt is written in the bowhunter's own words with his personal memories of the significant occasion. Each record-book story includes crucial details about the never-to-be-repeated hunt in a chart format and includes what equipment was used, location of the hunt, date and time, tactics used, weather conditions, sun and moon phase, and private or public land. Additional information on the hunter includes years bowhunting, number of bow-killed deer, favorite hunting tactics, and much more.
